WWII Veterans of Hampton Roads Video Documentary – November 12 and 13, 2016

 

The Virginia War Museum is proud to sponsor a screening of:
WWII Veterans of Hampton Roads  

A Video Documentary by Mitchell Woods, Boy Scout Troop 31, Fort Monroe, VA, featuring highlights of interviews with more than 30 WWII Veterans from our area.
Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 and Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 at 2PM. (running time is one hour)

The Virginia War Museum is proud to sponsor this unique documentary which focuses on the experiences of Hampton Roads WWII veterans. Filmed as part of his Boy Scout Eagle Scout Project, this documentary is the culmination of almost four years of work.  This documentary was first viewed in 2014, but recently updated in 2016 to include highlights of more recent interviews.  Come and hear about WWII from the voices of the “greatest generation.”  Admission to the film is free.
